Zamfara apc Congress: A good omen for Matawalle’s 2nd term.

It’s evidently clear that Governor Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun MON, has used all lawful and possible avenues to fix the hitherto rivalry with the aggrieved critical stakeholders of Zamfara APC so as to get everybody accommodated and carried along but their greediness and selfish intentions became a hitch to the idea. We must commend His Excellency for enduring to reconcile with all and hope that Allah would reward him for imitating the Sunnah of His Noble Prophet. The conduct of today’s party congress is a signal that victory is surely for Matawalle and his allies. We remain hopeful and prayerful  that the Governor would succeed and Zamfara would get out of the current trauma ignited by those that are yet to accept the Allah’s will. And these are the good omen that keeps state and all the good people of Zamfara state going, despite the various challenges bedevelling the state

Massive turnout in Zamfara APC Ward Congress.

… as delegates affirm Gov Matawalle as party leader – Yari, Koguna absent Thousands of delegates and supporters of the All Progressive Congres, APC in Zamfara state turned out in massive numbers to elect their new leadership at the ward Congress held on Saturday. Our News medium observed that the exercise was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere across the all 147 wards, despite the much anticipated security challenge in the state. Women and youths in large numbers attended the event while APC officials gathered to monitor the conduct peacefully. At Galadima and Kayyaye/Matusgi wards under Talata Mafara local governments, the APC ward congress was conducted smoothly, without rancour. We observe proceedings at the two wards, reports that party members turned out in their large numbers to participate in the elective ward Congress. ZAMFARA POLITICS: SENATOR KABIRU MARAFA AND HIS PARALLEL CONGRESS.

The National Headquarter of the All progressive Congress APC fixed November 13th, 2021 as the official date for it's Wards Congress in Zamfara State. However, the announcement by the ruling party did not go down well  with some factions that emerged following the defection of Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC by the actions of the National Headquarters of the APC angered Senator Kabiru Marafa, who represented Zamfara Central  at the 8th Assembly, threatened to Conduct his parallel  Congress to have his own Party executives.  Marafa who Spoke through Channels Television in a program Politics today also threatened to go to the Court to Challenge the action of the National Headquarters of the APC for conducting the Scheduled Ward Congress in all the 14 local governments of Zamfara State. Yaris henchman arrested, implicates ex governor

Former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Abdul Aziz Yari is in deep trouble. According to reports reaching us, we have it on good authority that one of the henchmen of the former governor, is now in the hand of security operatives in connection with some classified documents belonging to the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF), and money in foreign currency recovered from him upon routine search. The henchman whose name was withheld for security reason was intercepted on a tip off while traveling from Talata Mafara to Abuja where he was expected to deliver the documents. After hours of interrogation, the suspect started making some shocking revelations. Former Governor of Zamfara state, Yari is still battling to cleanse himself of the mud which he rubbed himself when he dabbled into the coffers of Zamfara state when he was the sitting governor of the state. During his political reign in  the state as the Chief Executive Officer, allegations of misappropriation and outright looting of the state funds was more or less the other of the day. But more notorious was the allegation of his pocketing N500 million naira of the Paris Club loan refund after payment by the federal government, apart from other such looting of public funds here and there, whose report were not so loud. “Mr. Yari is accused of pocketing N500 million and $500,000 from the Paris Club refunds made available by the Federal Government, in favour of the 36 states of the federation,” so said one of the screaming headlines in the newspapers at the time of the disbursement of that money by the federal government, and at a time when he was also the Chairman of the Nigeria ...

Revealed: Yari Apc National Chairmanship Ambition Suffered Set back

  Things are currently not looking good for the former Zamfara State Governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari, over his All Progressive Congress, APC, Chairmanship ambition. A close Aide to Yari who pleaded anonymity disclosed to this medium that in an emergency political meeting held at Abuja, "the former Zamfara Governor have been running up and down to seek audience with some reputable APC gladiators to influence Baba Bisi Akande, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mai Mala Buni, Abubakar Malami, and kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje respectively to plead on his behalf to President Muhammadu Buhari to accept his candidacy as the National Chairman of the ruling party, the APC . Gov. Matawalle Meets Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Zamfara state Governor His Excellency Hon. Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, MON, met with former British Prime Minister Sir. Tony Blair and founder of the Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) to discuss areas of collaboration on governance, peace and economic sustainability with Zamfara State in mind. The meeting gave Governor Matawalle the opportunity to rub minds with Sir Tony Blair on ways of empowering and uplifting his people. The Governor had in the last weeks been on international networking and investment drive for Zamfara State. A mission that has enabled him to meet with global international figures in places like the United Nations in New York and other such places in his desire to grow the economy of Zamfara State.

Yari Bonanza Galore: General Admits Receiving N20m Not N50m.

  A retired army general and former national security adviser, Aliyu Gusau was reputed to have received a sum of 50 million naira from former Zamfara governor, Abdullaziz Yari.  The former NSA however admitted to receiving only 20 million naira from the former governor and it was't for him. His son Mahdi Aliyu Gusau, the Deputy Governor of Zamfara state is the beneficiary of this fund. He said the money was disbursed to the deputy governor as part of Yari's logistics Support to ensure a smooth and hitch free attendance by Zamfara state PDP delegates and Supporters to Abuja for the just-concluded National Convention of the party. A close associate of the general  quoted him as saying   "Yari has the right to decide which party to belong to and as a Nigerian he has done nothing wrong in giving his contribution to whichever political party he chooses  to".
