Zamfara Governor in a face-off with President Tinubu Over Emefiele Arrest




Zamfara State Gov Dauda Lawal Dare is set for a battle with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the arrest of CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele.



According to our investigations, Dauda who is mentioned by Emefiele as one of his proxies while being interogated by the DSS, said if Tinubu did not order for the release of Emefiele, he would expose a top secret of the President.



Dauda Lawal who also warned the President to stay clear of the affairs of Zamfara state said he would not tolerate any external influence in his administration's affairs. 



A reliable source near the Zamfara Governor said Dauda was Furious while speaking to the President in a recent telephone conversation. Dauda urged the President to mind his own business and leave Emefiele alone. 



The source said he has never seen Dauda Lawal that angry before. The source said that after the telephone conversation with the President, Dauda was panting. "I could not imagine a Governor talking to President like Dauda did."



It may be recalled that Dauda was mentioned in the Emefiele interrogation as a proxy to the embattled suspended CBN Governor where it was revealed that he has collected over Eight Billion US dollars for Emefiele. 



Dauda Lawal, a former Executive Director of the First Bank Plc was also a collaborator and associate of Nigeria's former corrupt petroleum Minister Diezani Alison Madueke.



It may also be recalled that the Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal Dare disclosed his assets at 9 trillion Naira.
