CORRUPTION: 11 ATTEMPTS MADE BY ZAMFARA GOVERNOR DAUDA LAWAL TO CHANGE ASSETS DECLARATION FORM UNCOVERED, SAYS CCB INSIDER.
An operative working with the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) Head office Abuja who begged for anonymity confirmed that about 11 attempts were made by the current Zamfara State governor Dauda Lawal through some of his closed Ally's to Change his signed and sealed assets declaration form earlier submitted has been declined.
" The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) is a Nigerian federal government executive body established to ensure high standards of ethics and conduct in public Service therefore, no amount of pressures nor- financial inducement will make our office to temper with any documents willingly submitted by any public office holder to our office, " insider said.
" I can tell you for free that His Excellency the Executive governor of Zamfara State Dauda Lawal sometime in 2023 declared Cash Assets Of over $5 Billion and the form is cooling under our custody only waiting for the appropriate time to launch investigation, because I don't think Nigeria Commercial Banks combined has such volume of Money decleared by Zamfara State governor." A source working with the CCB Registry Unit said.
Another credible information at the CCB Headquarters Abuja reveals that, governor Dauda Lawal three steps flow models made several attempts last year 2024 with large sum of Money as gratification to change his assets declaration form earlier submitted by governor Dauda himself but was rejected..
